Marc Léger: A Campaign Brand That Won Ward 2
Marc Léger was elected to Moncton City Council, Ward 2, with a campaign identity rooted in the city's hand-painted sign heritage.
The Challenge
Marc had a clear platform and a neighbourhood he knew well.
He didn't want a campaign that looked like every other municipal election.
What We Did
- Researched historic hand-painted signage from the Moncton region to root the identity in local heritage
- A bold blue, gold and orange palette with hand-painted-sign typography and a stylized Moncton skyline
- A graphic treatment of Marc's candid headshot that made him instantly recognizable
- A three-word platform tagline: Safety • Affordability • Connection
- Bilingual large-format signs, yard signs, tri-folds, buttons and door hangers, with QR codes to his website
- Social media graphics, event assets and a mobile-friendly website

The Result
Marc knocked on the doors and earned the votes, and he was elected. A campaign is the purest test of marketing: one day, one result.
The fundamentals are the same for any business: know your audience, say one clear thing, and show up everywhere they look.
What the Client Says
“Jon took the creative direction for my campaign materials from an idea to a brand people recognized on every street in Ward 2. He handled the identity, the signs, the brochures, the website and social graphics so I could focus on knocking on doors. I couldn't have asked for a better creative partner on the road to council.”
