# Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort: 18.4x Return on Google Ads

How a New Brunswick Nordic spa resort earned $18.40 for every $1 spent on Google Ads after seven weeks of work, and finally saw what drives bookings.

## The Challenge

Hope-Wellness Eco-Resort in Edgetts Landing, NB, is busy every summer. Owners Katie Carson and Ashley Ward wanted fall and winter to look the same.

They also had no way to tell which marketing actually turned into bookings.

- Google Search campaigns mapped to each promotion's booking window
- A two-day photo and video shoot, including owner interviews
- Press outreach, a social calendar and email marketing
- GA4 connected to the Mews booking platform, Google Ads and Google Business Profile, so ad spend traces to real revenue
- An automated monthly report comparing results with last month, last year and industry benchmarks

In August and September, the resort earned $18.40 in revenue for every $1 spent on Google Ads, rising to $21.90 in September. Website sessions grew 277% and conversions grew 191%.
